This is a story about Lucy and Ruby,
two girls who do something awesome every year.
They host a fundraiser for brain cancer research.

It started with a lemonade stand.
The stand raised thousands for the hospital
that treated their dad, Scott.

When their dad passed away, Lucy and Ruby turned their lemonade stand into a big event all about fun — just like their dad.

They’ve had bounce houses, live music,
food, face painting, games, a silent auction, prizes, cookies and lemonade.

The 2016 event was the most successful yet, but they’ve planned something new for 2017.
